10th Annual VIP Reading Day
February 25, 2022
In celebration of International Mother Language Day, Dwight held its’ 10th Annual VIP Reading Day. Students in Preschool to Grade 5 enjoyed hearing stories told by our special guests in their native tongue.
Thirteen different languages were spoken in their storytelling while our students also learned about cultures and traditions of Denmark, Mexico, Oman, Germany, France, Pakistan, Korea, Sweden, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, Japan, and India. We know mother language empowers us in many ways, and storytelling in different languages further promotes linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism at Dwight School Seoul.
