Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12) applicants are also required to attend an additional interview with the Upper School Principal and the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator.

Applicants applying from overseas who are unable to attend in person may complete the interview online via Zoom or Google Meet. Where appropriate, the admissions assessment may be supervised by a teacher or school counselor at the applicant’s current school.

Please ensure your application is complete before submission, as incomplete applications cannot be reviewed by the Admissions Office.

Once the interview and admissions assessment have been completed, the Admissions Committee will conduct a holistic review of each applicant. This includes academic records, teacher recommendations, behavior, extracurricular involvement, community engagement, and the student’s overall readiness to thrive at Dwight School Seoul.

In some cases, additional information may be required, including:

Additional Assessment: A further on-campus assessment or classroom observation.
Behavioral Review: Follow-up with the applicant’s current or previous school, if needed.

Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12): Please note that English as an Additional Language (EAL) is not available in the Diploma Programme, and learning support is limited to study skills and time management.

Final admissions decisions are made by the relevant Principal and the Head of School following a comprehensive review of each application.

Once an admissions decision has been made, families will be notified by email. Successful applicants will receive an offer of admission along with the next steps to confirm enrollment and secure their child’s place at Dwight School Seoul.
