Learning Support Teacher

Dwight School Seoul is seeking a full-time, qualified Learning Support Teacher to join our collaborative Learning Support team. The Learning Support Teacher supports students across the PYP, MYP, and DP, helping to ensure they can access, engage with, and thrive within the IB curriculum.

Working within a whole-school, multi-tiered support model, the Learning Support Teacher collaborates closely with classroom teachers, the Learning Support team, and parents to identify student needs, plan appropriate interventions, and adapt instruction to support individual learners. The role requires thoughtful collaborative planning, effective differentiation, and clear, consistent communication.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and experienced within an IB curriculum framework, with strong subject-area knowledge and a commitment to inclusive education. The successful candidate will be a positive and proactive team member who contributes not only to the Learning Support department but also to the wider Dwight School Seoul community.



The successful candidate will have:

  • Teaching certification

  • At least 2 years of teaching experience

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS)

  • Experience with co-planning and co-teaching alongside classroom and subject teachers

  • A commitment to continuous professional growth

  • A commitment to student learning, wellbeing, and safeguarding

  • A commitment to recognizing every student as an individual, and to developing differentiated practices that embrace each child’s Spark of Genius

  • Experience with the IB curriculum (preferred)

The Employee’s employment shall be subject to, and conditional only upon, the Employee’s eligibility for a valid work permit. The Korean immigration law requires that for all teaching or administrative roles in an international school, an employee with foreign passport shall have a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of teaching experience or hold a teaching license.
