Table of Contents

At Dwight School Seoul (서울드와이트외국인학교), we believe that the physical environment plays a vital role in supporting student learning, well-being, and community engagement. That’s why, throughout the 2024–2025 academic year, our campus underwent a series of major renovations and developments aimed at enhancing both functionality and the sense of belonging across our school.

Now, as we begin the 2025–2026 academic year, we’re thrilled to see our students, parents, and staff enjoying these new and improved spaces. The updates reflect our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, vibrant, and welcoming environment for our global school community.

Community-Centered Design: A Campus That Brings Us Together

New Main Entrance

The first thing you’ll notice when arriving on campus is our beautifully redesigned main entrance. With open space and modern bench seating, this area has quickly become a favourite gathering spot for students, parents, and staff alike. It’s more than just an entry point—it’s a space that invites conversation, connection, and a sense of welcome.

Engaging Playgrounds for Every Learner

Play is a critical part of learning, especially in the early years. That’s why we focused significant energy on renovating all three major playgrounds, with special attention to the Early Childhood Division (ECD) and Primary Years Programme (PYP) play areas.

Our updated playgrounds now feature safe, stimulating, and inclusive equipment that encourages creativity, exploration, and social interaction. Whether climbing, sliding, or engaging in imaginative play, our students are making full use of these revitalized outdoor spaces every day.

New School Lounge on Level 1: A Hub for Connection

Another exciting addition is our brand-new School Lounge on Level 1. This dynamic space has been designed to serve as a welcoming hub for the entire school community. Equipped with comfortable seating and collaborative areas, the lounge offers a place for:

  • Informal meetings
  • Parent coffee mornings
  • Quiet reading or relaxation between activities

Already, it’s become a popular destination where learning and community naturally come together.

A Shared Vision for the Future

These renovations are more than just upgrades they reflect our shared vision of a campus that nurtures curiosity, well-being, and global citizenship. As our Dwight Seoul family continues to grow, we are proud to offer facilities that support both academic excellence and the daily joy of learning.

We thank all members of our community for their support and excitement throughout the renovation process. It has been truly rewarding to see our students running, playing, gathering, and learning in these newly enhanced spaces.

We invite you to visit our campus and experience the transformation for yourself. Here’s to a vibrant and inspiring school year ahead.
