Dwight School Seoul is seeking a full-time, qualified Learning Support teacher to join our collaborative Learning Support team.
The Learning Support Teacher facilitates learning for students receiving support through our Learning Support department, working across PYP, MYP, and DP classrooms.
The role sits within a whole-school, multi-tiered support model and requires collaborative planning, adapting instruction and effective communication
between the Learning Support team, classroom teachers, and parents.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and experienced within the IB curriculum framework, with strong subject-area knowledge.
The successful candidate is a positive, collaborative team player who looks beyond the department to contribute to the wider school community.
The successful candidate will have:
- Teaching certification
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Experience working with students with special educational needs within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS)
- Experience with co-planning and co-teaching alongside classroom and subject teachers
- A commitment to continuous professional growth
- A commitment to student learning, wellbeing, and safeguarding
- A commitment to recognizing every student as an individual, and to developing differentiated practices that embrace each child’s Spark of Genius
- Experience with the IB curriculum (preferred)
